A bit about me.

I am married with three children, a dog and two cats. My utterly amazing wife is an executive coach, and without her I would probably be destitute and living in a cardboard box under a bridge.

I grew up in Toronto, Canada, and obtained a degree in psychology, moral philosophy, and medical ethics from the University of Toronto. I almost went to grad school. Then I accidentally stumbled into advertising, and I have never looked back: it’s given me an amazing career that has taken me all over the world.

Since 2021, I’ve been part of the leadership team at Dentsu. In my role as Client President and Integrated Client Leader, I’m tasked with driving integration, innovation and growth across some of our most important clients, and helping expand to Dentsu’s integrated client leadership capabilities. Over the last 3 years, I have led Dentsu’s global integrated relationships with American Express, Marriott International, and 7-Eleven.

From 2010-2020, I worked at WPP in several global leadership roles, where I repeatedly built high-performing, revenue-growing, profitable, and award-winning teams. In my final role there I served as WPP’s Global Client Leader for Walgreens Boots Alliance, a key global client, from 2019-2020. Partnering with the CMO, I co-wrote and helped to launch a new global marketing vision; built new global agency capabilities in personalization, martech, and performance marketing; increased the quality and quantity of our creative output; and restructured the entire US organization, moving it to Chicago from NY, building a new, diverse management team, and hiring 100+ staff. WPP was rewarded with a new multi-year contract renewal after a high-profile global RFP in summer 2020.

Before that, I led WPP's Team Colgate-Palmolive, as Regional Managing Director in the EMEA region from 2015-2019. Based in Paris, I managed dozens of different WPP agencies in over 50 countries, and led Red Fuse Communications, Colgate-Palmolive's dedicated, integrated communications agency, with offices in Paris, London, Hamburg, and Prague. I restructured and improved the agency by centralizing resources, bringing in new creative leadership, creating a new project management organization, driving a major digital transformation, and winning multiple Cannes Lions.

From 2010-2015, I held the same role with Team Colgate of Regional Managing Director in the APAC region, based in Hong Kong. I led Y&R’s Hong Kong office, Red Fuse Hong Kong, Red Fuse Mumbai, and oversaw local teams at dozens of WPP agencies across Asia-Pacific working on Colgate-Palmolive. I was part of the initial team that built Red Fuse and launched it into Asia in 2012. Within three years, our new agency was awarded "Agency of the Year" in China/Hong Kong, and “Digital/Mobile Agency of the Year” in India, while winning Golds, Grands Prix, and Best in Show awards at Cannes, Clios, LIAs, The One Show, D&AD, Spikes, and AdFest. In 2014-2015, we were one of the most awarded agencies in APAC.

Prior to taking on agency leadership roles, I spent many years as a Brand Strategist at agency networks TBWA/Chiat/Day and Leo Burnett, and I helped to launch and grow Omnicom’s startup agency Juniper Park - now part of TBWA - as its first Head of Strategy. In our first two years, Juniper Park made Ad Age’s “Agencies to Watch” list, won significant new business, brought home numerous awards, and grew the agency to 60+ people.

Over a 25 year career, I have worked globally with many of the Fortune 100, including Coca-Cola, PepsiCo, Kellogg’s, Wrigley’s, ConAgra, Nintendo, Starbucks, P&G, Unilever, Colgate-Palmolive, Walgreens Boots, QVC, 7-Eleven, Marriott International, and American Express.

Along the way, I've become a well-known voice in the industry: I’ve judged award shows including the Clio Awards, the Effies, and Campaign's Digital Media Awards; I’ve taught marketing strategy at Google Squared, Miami Ad School, Ontario College of Art & Design, and Hong Kong Polytechnic University; and I have sat on boards as a Non-Executive Director.

Outside of work, I am an active member of the Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), and sat on the Executive Committee of YPO Greater Europe from 2017-2023. My joys include travel, skiing, football (soccer), cooking (and eating), wine, music, and hanging out with my wonderful family.

In September 2020, at the height of the pandemic, my family and I decided to take a year-long sabbatical break, and we moved to a small town in Louisiana and took road trips around the southern US. It was a rejuvenating break and one of the best decisions I ever made. During that year, I took on several passion projects including pro-bono work.

One of those projects was launching a successful startup with my wife: a health education platform focused on helping people understand circadian rhythms, mitochondrial health, and an emerging scientific field called quantum biology. It launched in early 2021, and now has members in over 50 countries. We are certified by the American Naturopathic Medical Accreditation Board as a school, and we offer to medical professionals both continuing education and a Board Certification. We have now trained hundreds of MDs, NDs, and other health practitioners.
